Carpet Cleaning

Appointment Times: We generally provide arrival estimates of 60 minutes. For example, if your cleaning is scheduled for 9am, you should expect your housekeepers/maids` to arrive sometime between 9-10am.

Lock-Outs: We pride ourselves on the flexibility we provide our customers. With your help, we can accommodate a variety of ways for our housekeepers/maids to enter your home. However, please be advised that a $40 fee will be assessed if our housekeepers/maids arrive for your scheduled cleaning and are unable to clean your home.

Late Cancellations: Any appointment cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time will be subject to a $20 cancellation fee.

Lifting: Please be advised, our housekeepers/maids cannot use ladders or move anything heavier than 35 lbs. If you would like us to clean behind large appliances, such as a refrigerator or oven, or pieces of furniture, such as a sofa, please move it prior to the cleaning visit to allow access to the area.

Tips: Although it is not necessary to tip our housekeepers/maids, it is encouraged, and a great way to say a job well done! Please let us know if you would like us to include your tips in your debit/credit card charges, and we will gladly pass them along to the housekeepers/maids.

Referrals: A great deal of our time and resources are put into recruiting and checking the background and experience of our housekeepers/maids. Part of our service agreement states you agree not to independently hire any past or present Perfect Shine's housekeepers/maids unless you pay our referral fee of $3,000. This amount is due in full immediately upon personal employment of the housekeeper/housekeepers/maids, regardless of whether you use them for a recurring or one-time service.

Breakage and Loss Policy

Perfect Shine Housekeeping's liability limits are set at a maximum of 10 times the cost of the service charge on the day in which the breakage/loss occurred. Notification must be made within 48 hours of service, by email or phone. Once the office receives the notification a form will be sent to you to be filled out. Please note the form needs to be received within 30 days after the incident occurs.

Items excluded from liability are; cash, jewelry, one-of-a-kind items or hard to get items; items of sentimental value, art, antiques and electronics.

Key replacement / locksmith fees are paid only if keys are lost or miscoded. There is a $50 per location liability limit.

Refunds

Since cleaning is a very personalized and subjective service, we cannot offer refunds to customers. However, we want you to be 100% satisfied with Perfect Shine Housekeeping. If you are dissatisfied with your cleaning, we will reclean at no additional cost. (Within 24 hours of date of service)
